Crimson Poppy

Crimson Poppy is constructed using five distinct sections: Group J is comprised of (8) center diamonds; Groups K, L, and M radiate out from the center star in three additional rounds of (8) star points each; and Group F is a pieced border added to the rounds to result in a 68″-square quilt. The quilt blocks were designed by Judy and Bradley Niemeyer. The layout and colorway was created by Judel Niemeyer using Quiltster.
There are many ways to expand your Quiltworx designs into larger sizes with compatible border packages, you should purchase the Introduction Booklet for the size quilt you want. Then, you should select expansion borders of your choice. The following information explains ways to expand your quilt.
- To expand the 68″ to a 99″ Queen, purchase one of the 242D borders
- To expand the 68″ to an 80″ Wall Quilt, add a 257C border of your choice
- To expand this to a 118″ King, add a 257C Border, then a 118″ King Border of your choice
