The Aftermath of Quilt Market
I am so excited to be working with Free Spirit Fabrics. We will have beautiful fabric in the coming spring by Tula Pink, Tim Holtz, Sue Penn, and more. I am very honored for every single quilt I do and the opportunity especially to continue to hone my long arm skills with more and more custom quilting. Fabric inventory will be growing faster in the coming year and as such I will be wworking on adding a store front to the website. Eventually I want to offer classes and possibly even quilt retreats, but there is so much work ahead of me before we get to that point. Since its November it is a great time to reflect on gratitude. I am of course grateful for my husband, without his love, devotion, and support I would not be able to accomplish 1/2 of what I do. I am grateful for my improving health. And I am grateful to all of you who are supportive of me as I build this business. Thank you so much. I hope that everyone has a sape and enjoyable Thanksgiving

Jason Yenter of In the Beginning Fabrics
Jason is the mastermind behind In the Beginning and designs beautiful digital fabric with vivid florals, the very popular dragons and more. It was such a pleasure to meet him at Market. it was fun getting initial orders set up with him, I wish ordering was not so far in advance. I look forward to adding his fabrics to our line up when it arrives in Spring/Summer

Studio 180
If you are not familiar with Deb Tucker & Studio 180, you should be. Long, long ago, the very first one of her cutting tools I got was the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star. Since I am an 8-point star junkie, this was life-changing. I love it! The lineup of cutting tools has since grown substantially and they have really cool Technique Sheets to help you get the most out of your rulers, and tons of really fun patterns too. Deb is a designer for Island Batik fabrics as well. I was so excited to see her at Market I placed my order there...and look what already arrived!
Kaffe Fassett
Kaffee is an icon in the fabric industry and has been designing nearly as long as I've been alive. His bright, bold colors are distinct and recognizable. He is everything you would expect out of an 80 year old ( a little cantankerous) and very full of life and energy. It was amazing to get to meet the icons of the industry and definitely lit a fire to come home and work even harder at building this.
